Care and Maintenance of your Windows after Treatment
Cleaning: Window films from Glasstint have a durable scratch resistant surface. We recommend using a good quality damp microfiber cloth. A mild solution of dish washing detergent and warm water can be used for greasy marks.
Curing: Curing times vary, however in the Nelson climate, generally film will be visually cured in a 4-5 days with 30-60 days for complete cure depending on film type and climate conditions.
Avoid: Bristle brushes, scourers, ammonia based or abrasive cleaners. Do not apply adhesive tapes or stickers on the film side of the glass.
Tip: Label a zip lock bag "window film only" and store dried microfibre cloth in the bag - this way the cloth cannot accumulate any grit from other uses that may scratch the film.
